Mission & Philosophy
Gold Street School stands as a beacon of early childhood education, offering a specialized program for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten students. At our school, we hold a firm belief in the power of play-based learning, recognizing it as a fundamental element in fostering the cognitive and social development of our young learners. We actively encourage parent involvement, understanding the vital role it plays in a child's educational journey. To ensure that every child is ready to learn, we provide free breakfast and lunch to all students. Our commitment to inclusivity is evident in our upcoming project—a new, inclusive playground set to be unveiled in December, designed to create a welcoming environment for all our young learners. Our dedicated TK teachers, experts in early learning, employ developmentally appropriate practices to nurture the unique potential of each child. In addition to academic support, our school provides a nurse aide on-site and a robust student support system catering to the social-emotional needs of our students. At Gold Street School, we are not just shaping young minds; we are building the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity, growth, and inclusivity.
